MPG's Growth Plan
In March, we held our spring meeting in Nashville and were thrilled to introduce our newest members. These four companies are part of our recent growth initiative to expand the Master Pools Guild family.
While we’ve always had a global presence, we’ve purposely kept our membership on the smaller side. A year ago, we had 92 member companies across the U.S., Canada, and six other countries. Since then, we’ve welcomed four new firms, which is one more than our typical three per year. Our goal is to add another 12 by next spring.
There are many areas in North America where we lack a member, like Hawaii, parts of Virginia, Texas, the Northeast and Canada, so we’re looking to fill these spots. We’d also love to have more representation around the globe.
It’s been exciting to see our younger members show interest in growing the group. In fact, our current Vice Chairman, Josh Buzzell of Houston-based Regal Pools, is on track to become the youngest chairman in MPG history. He’s very passionate about welcoming new members, not for financial reasons, but to enhance the collective expertise and knowledge within our organization.
The spring meeting had an impressive 70% attendance rate from our membership. Highlights included case study presentations from members showcasing challenging and innovative projects, as well as a tour of Hayward’s heater plant in Nashville.
Mark your calendars – our next meeting will be held from October 9-12 in San Antonio. We can’t wait to see everyone there and continue building connections within our incredible community of pool builders and professionals.
Thanks to all members, vendors and partners for their support, without which this growth plan would not be possible.
